I have gained a closer shave, the ability to know how much battery charge is left (via an LCD readout) and a prompt to clean the razor when necessary. It took no where near as long as a safety razor shave. No soap, no cleaning, no lather/re-lather/re-lather to get all of the angels covered, no mess, and no raw skin.
