This Panasonic ES-LA93-K Arc 4 shaver incorporates some firsts for Panasonic: 14,000 rpm motor.  After many years of being a Braun fan, the last iteration I owned totally turned me off Braun. When I discovered Panasonic's line of electric shavers I took awhile to come around to taking the plunge. I would have never tried an electric razor again until I stumbled on this Panasonic ES-LA93-K Men's. I read and re-read the description of using this shaver wet.

The shave is exceptional, really, in my experience, the best ever. The instructions indicate that it can take 30 days for one's skin to adjust to a new shaving regime but I tell you what: my skin said "Yay!" the first time! The blades move fast, are linear, and can handle soap, water and oil without gumming up.

I have pale sensitive skin and dark hair that grows fast. I am a 8-11 minute shaver. Always have been. An over-shaver, never feel done. It's hard for me to go past 5 minutes with this Panasonic ES-LA93-K unit. I start feeling "done" about 3 minutes. It's fast.

Regular shaving doesn't work well for me, because the next day I need to shave again, but can't without seriously injuring/irritating my skin. However, with this Panasonic ES-LA93-K Men's 4-Blade Wet/Dry Electric Shaver the problem is solved. It is very gentle on my skin and I've experienced very few irritations. The main issue I have with it is it can't handle longer hairs well, but luckily it has a tiny trimmer on the back which can cut the long hairs down to a length the shaver can handle.

The latest model has "lift" technology which might help with this. The Panasonic ES-LA93-K Men's shaver is loud, but not irritating. The loudness it a testiment to the cutting speed, which is the reason your shave is smoother and there is little to no irritation. The hairs are cut quickly and never pulled by the shaver. The battery lasts for a good while, and I average using 15-20% per shave.

The cleaning base has a smart compact design and uses water and detergent to clean the head. This is another selling point for people with sensitive skin since most electric razor cleaners use alcohol which can cause discomfort. It cleans, soaks, drains, cleans and then drys the head so it is ready for you the next day. I have used the razor and cleaning station on deployments and on multiple trips.
